Consultancy
As well as consulting on television programmes such as A House Through Time, Deborah has also done consultancy for brands. Since 2022, Deborah has worked with Clarion Communications for Wickes on a series of media partnerships: Kitchen Shapes (2022), Women and DIY (2022), The Wickes Great Kitchen Report (2023), The Wickes Great Bathroom Report (2024), Gen Z predicts the kitchen of 2075 (2025). This has resulted in numerous national and radio interviews and extensive press coverage and in 2024 Clarion appointed Deborah as one of their Very Clever People (VCP) to provide invaluable support and insightful perspectives to help shape their strategic campaigns. Deborah has also worked with all three sets of owners of the Ideal Home Shown and with Ketchum for Signify (formerly Philips Lighting) to mark the EU halogen lightbulb ban, which resulted in a widely reported document on 50 Obsolete Items in the Home.
